Citrix Quick Launch shows as "Unknown" in EdgeSight Reports

     I recently came across an issue where EdgeSight reports were showing launches of an "Unknown" application. The is the first time I have noticed this in usage reports. After further investigation I noticed the client name in the report was coming from MY workstation. I was able to determine it was the Citrix Quick Launch tool. I recently attended a really good Citrix webinar that detailed several troubleshooting tools, ie. Quick Launch, XD Ping, XD Collector, and Scout. I have used many of these tools in the past, however I wanted to revisit some of the Quick Launch features. I would encourage all Citrix admins to get familiar with these tools as troubleshooting Citrix environments can be daunting and complex. Anyway, back to EdgeSight. It seems EdgeSight is not able to ID Quick Launch. I was able to reproduce and confirm Quick Launch was the culprit. I run usage reports on a weekly basis, and I'm sure an "Unknown" would have drawn some questions. Not sure if there is a fix for this but I am looking into it. Thought I would pass this along just in case you might run into it in your own environment. Cheers.
